ATELIER INTERACTIVE ACRYLIC PAINTS - SLOW MEDIUM

Atelier Interactive Slow Medium:

  • can be used with Atelier Interactive acrylic paints to extend the wet blending time in hostile (dry) weather conditions.
  • can be used in small amounts to produce a smooth, mid-viscosity acrylic paint.
  • is useful for glazing and other techniques requiring thinner paint and longer working times. As thin paint normally dries fastest, this Slow Medium keeps thinly painted areas workable (please note - when a water sprayer is used to replace moisture, the medium remains active during a painting session, so a balance needs to be found between using more medium or using the spray to keep the first application "alive". With a medium as interactive as this, its effect is cumulative, whereas conventional mediums just dry and get buried under the next layer of paint).
  • cleans up with mild soap and cool water.
  • is waterbased and non toxic.
